Nelvana Enterprises (formerly known as Nelvana Limited) is a Canadian animation studio and entertainment company that co-produces Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go with Mattel Television, as well as providing the animation.

Nelvana is well known for making several 2D and 3D animated television series' including Little Bear, Ned's Newt, Rolie Polie Olie, Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends, Babar, Rupert, Redwall, Eek! the Cat, The Backyardigans, Ruby Gloom, Cyberchase (Seasons 1-5), Donkey Kong Country, Doki (Pilot episodes only) Max & Ruby, The Magic School Bus, The Adventures of Sam & Max: Freelance Police, Timothy Goes to School, The Berenstain Bears, Rescue Heroes, Esme & Roy and Handy Manny. They also Made a few Adult Animated television series' including the first season of Clone High. They have also handled non-US distribution for The Fairly OddParents (Seasons 1-5) and Taina as well as North American distribution of the anime series, Cardcaptor Sakura under the title Cardcaptors.

  • They produced the animated Donkey Kong Country television series, which was the first television series to use motion capture animation, something that the Thomas & Friends has used a few times.
    • Furthermore, the animated Donkey Kong Country series was based of the Donkey Kong Country video games by Nintendo, who have published numerous Thomas & Friends video games before.
  • Some of the shows Nelvana made such as Max & Ruby, Little Bear, Franklin, Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Kids, The Backyardigans, and Corn & Peg have all aired on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr.
  • Some of their shows like Cyberchase, Seven Little Monsters, Berenstain Bears, and Marvin The Tap-Dancing Horse have all been aired on PBS Kids. Berenstain Bears was also aired on PBS Kids Sprout.
