What if nia and rebecca were in model form
I'm still working on Henry, but when I was watching YouTube videos this morning, I saw this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sj3jwNVChEo
I found it on the official Thomas & Friends UK YouTube Channel. The reason I put this picture is because for some reason, when I put the link here, the video isn't showing up. What do you think of it?
So, I decided to redraw this cut-out of Rebecca (see the link) from a little while ago because it didn’t really look right. So here’s a new one! Honestly IMO it’s wayyy better than my older drawing, I think this is one of my better drawings. I’ll be drawing Daisy soon.
(here’s the link to the older version)
And here’s the new one!
Also the tender is a bit weird butttt... it happens lol. Practice makes perfect, I guess...
Btw I tried to make her look more like her real life basis-
Season 1-7: Awesome! These are the best seasons of Thomas, and maybe some of the best seasons of children's television in general. They have adapted classic stories from The Railway Series. It also has original stories by Britt Allcroft and David Mitton, stolen stories written by Andrew Brenner, and stories by hired writers for the last two seasons. I like these seasons because they have awesome models, awesome sets, awesome stories, and awesome action. Another thing I appreciate is that it respects the audience and doesn't assume they're stupid. 10/10.
Seasons 8-12: Ladies and gentlemen, this is where the show goes downhill. They develop a three-strike formula that became very overused. They also began having open wagons to carry food items in. Like, really? If I order flour and sugar, I don't want sparks, smoke, and bugs getting into it. What a terrible way of transportation. This was also the era that introduced one-off characters to sell toys. I also recall the characters acting dumber in this era, especially Emily. However, I'm still fond of this era. There were still some great stories...sometimes. The sets were also great. Not as great as the seasons that came before, but still great. It depends on which set you're looking at. 7/10.
Season 13-16: They destroyed the characters, they have next to no good episodes, and the three-strike formula became normal for every episode. You can tell they didn't care about it. 2/10. And the reason I'm giving it a 2/10 is for Hero of the Rails and Blue Mountain Mystery. But if we don't count the specials, it's a 0/10 real easy.
Seasons 17-21: I love this era. It's not as good as Season 1-7, but hear me out: The stories became good again, the characters and dialog got a lot better, the series just became great again. There are a lot of awesome episodes, and a few of the specials are awesome as well. There's a few flaws in this era, like not experimenting in tone, as The Unlucky Tug mentioned. You can also tell there was a lot of corporate meddling, especially in the specials. It's a shame it all came to an end after Season 21. It wasn't even a slow decline, the show got bad fast with Season 22, and I'll explain why. Overall, I give this era an 8/10. As I said, not as good as the early model seasons, but still, this era was the peak of the CGI series. If it wasn't for this era, people would probably disregard the CGI series entirely. Big respect to the crew who worked on this era. Thanks for making the series enjoyable again.
Seasons 22-24: These are the seasons where Thomas travels the world. There is no big storyline with these episodes, he just goes to other countries to do jobs. I don't blame Sir Topham Hatt for doing this, he has WAY too many engines at this point. Henry and Edward also get replaced by two female engines. I wouldn't mind this if it was done right. Henry and Edward are two very developed characters, and Nia and Rebecca look like they were made up on the spot. They have no interesting traits besides being from Africa and making clumsy mistakes. But no worries, at least Henry and Edward are still part of the show. Oh, wait a minute, no they aren't. What a slap in the face to the fans. There is also no narrator in this era. Thomas being the narrator just doesn't feel right. It's annoying. But yeah, this whole era was a big dumpster fire. The show sucked, the toys sucked, and Mattel sucks. There were next to no good episodes, except Yong Bao and the Tiger, and whatever Michael White wrote. However, Mattel made one good decision in this era, and that was cancelling the show. They introduced flying cars and robots, what would have been next, Thomas and his friends having a race on Rainbow Road? I'm glad the show stopped before we got to this possible episode concept. Thanks Mattel, you ruined it for everyone. 2/10. And the only reason I'm giving it a 2/10 is because of Michael White. Without him, it would have been 0/10. ZERO OUT OF TEN.
Thanks for reading. :)
So, here’s a very unpopular opinion of mine that pretty much contradicts everything I have said until now, and I worry that it might make you a little upset, so I’ve been hesitant about posting this, but... here goes, anyway.
I like Rebecca. Yes, I know that I used to say that I hated her, but... she’s actually grown on me quite a bit, tbh. I bet you did not expect me to say that.
Anyway, let me explain why. Yes, I know BWBA is really bad and Rebecca replaced Henry (however I still prefer Henry over her), but first of all, she is way better (IMO) than Nia, and she has lots of potential that I don’t think we really saw out of her. Plus, her basis is one of my favorite real life engines (City of Wells, my OC, is based on a real engine of the same name and basis.). I love Rebecca’s livery! I love the colors and to me it is really nice to see, even if it isn’t realistic. Also, her number is 22, which is a significant number to me since I’ve been noticing it everywhere (for some reason...). I know her personality is pretty bland, but I still like how she tries to be cheerful and she sees the best in everyone. Sure, Rebecca is hated by most the community and she has lots of flaws... but I still like her. What do you think? Is this a character I should like or not? I’m just a little worried that people might dislike me for liking a character who is generally not liked.

So here’s a little something my friend wanted me to draw. I tried to turn Rebecca into a RWS character, and I tried to make her livery look more like her basis (with the stripes). I also attempted a RWS-like style for the face, which ended up looking more like my old art style lol.
I think it looks ok, but the stripes were... eh. Anyway, here’s my drawing.
I hope you like it!
I was on YouTube and I saw that thomasandfriends47 has got a new Motorized pack. It features a rainbow coloured Thomas, a normal James, but also an updated version of Rebecca and Percy (or at least his mail car). It seems like Motorized really is improving from Trackmaster 2, doesn't it? What do you think of the pack?
Hi everyone, I’m @Thomasfan1234 and I had done a Kana and Sandy Head Canon last week, if you want to check it out here is the link:
So today, I would like to talk about Rebecca. Rebecca is a bad forced character along with Nia, so I would like to improve on her character and her character arc like if it was in the railway series. I would kind of rewrite some of her episodes, so here we go:
I would continue with the episode, “The Fastest Red engine on Sodor”. After James is sent to the Steamworks, Sir Topham Hatt needs an engine to replace him for now till James is repaired. So Sir Topham Hatt orders Rebecca now we start in “Confusion without delay”:
Okay, I know that episode includes Nia so she will be replaced with Edward, the episode starts the same, Topham tries to announce Rebecca’s arrival but Thomas tries to interrupt him to tell him the Rebecca is go to bump him and she does. Thomas, Percy, Emily and Edward or Henry introduced themselves to Rebecca and when Gordon hears that she is replacing James. He gets mad and tells Topham that some else can do James’ work but Topham says other wise and Gordon is upset. Gordon tells Henry later that day and Henry is upset as well. Gordon has a idea to get rid of Rebecca and Henry agrees. Later at evening, Rebecca heads to tidmouth and Edward goes to wellsworth while the shed is getting repaired which foreshadows, “A Shed for Edward”, btw Confusion Without Delay and A Shed for Edward takes place at the same time. Rebecca stays at tidmouth and Gordon and Henry being rude and not talking to her. Thomas mentions that Rebecca can take the express one day and Gordon gets even more mad while Thomas, Percy and Emily Giggles. The next day, Sir Topham Hatt tells everyone what they have to do and he tells Rebecca to take a goods train and that gives Gordon an idea. Gordon tells the Trucks to make Rebecca crash, the trucks were surprised but agrees. Rebecca takes the goods train and the head off, Rebecca never pulled the trucks and Rebecca gets into a crash.
Emily and Rocky goes to save her and Sir Topham is mad with Rebecca and she goes to the Steamworks and Emily takes over for her and that is where Rebecca meets James. Rebecca tells James how she messed up and James cheers her up and they get a friendship but Gordon and Henry doesn’t know. Henry later finds out that Rebecca had crashed and Gordon’s plan had work and he tells Gordon that they had succeeded but Henry had some type of guilt inside while Gordon was great that his worked. Henry feels bad for Rebecca and that He and Gordon shouldn’t had done that. Later that week, Henry has a lot of guilt and he can’t hold it back anymore, so he tells Sir Topham Hatt and he gets mad at Henry and Gordon, He makes Henry on shunting duty and Gordon the Flying Kipper. Rebecca and James are repaired and Topham gives Rebecca the express and James goes back to his work. The end
That the end of Rebecca Arc, I hope you like this, if you can improve this, please write in the Comments. Thank you.
PS, I hope this is a quality post
So, I finally finish this. Exactly like Alfred, Rebecca is made from a push along engine. I painted all her navy blue parts black (just the plarail version) as I think this looks better. I also gave her a white running board to match the other NWR engines.
Such an underrated character.
Welcome to the 6th Instalment of Guess the Character!
The only steam team member who comes from a different country.
Made in all 5 merchandise lines.
Has a red running board like Gina, Merlin, Rebecca and Duchess.
Appeared in every series of the BWBA Era since her introduction.
Has an interest for Animals.
Good Luck and also, DO NOT LOOK IT UP!
Since Rebecca's first episode Confusion Without Delay was meant for Season 21, was Rebecca meant to have an introduction similar to Emily?
Emily appeared in a couple Season 7 episodes building her character, was pushed in many episodes of Season 8 the first HiT season, and then joined the gang at Tidmouth Sheds in the 2005 film Calling All Engines when the workmen built an additional stall at Tidmouth Sheds for her.
