We hear things about engines like Gordon and Glynn being built. Okay, simple enough. But how did they get their faces? In one scene in The Great Race, Thomas blushes, which would imply that their faces have blood. After you build an engine, how do you get flesh to appear?
What's on your mind?
The map is based on the map made by Sam Wilkinson and the idea of Unlucky Tug to change directions between Tidmouth and Knapford. I also added Harwick Branch Line, the line leading to the misty island through the tunnel and I added a line to connect Mid Sodor Railway with Skarloey Railway.
I don't think a lot of people know this but the Bachmann model's faces are based off the ones in the show (almost) so i thought it would be fun to go through all of the model era ones!
Thomas's Face is based off of the S6 Grinning Face.
Edward's Face is based of of his S11 Content Face.
Henry's Face is his Smiling Face either from after the TAMAR Recastment, or S10
Gordon's Face is his S11 Proud Face
James is a unique one, since he's the only one(not counting CGI styled characters) to be based off of the 2D promos
Percy's Face is actually based off of his Grinning Face from S5 (thus, making him the only character to have their face based off one from the 90s)
Toby's Face dosen't have a specific reference but its the Happy Face
Duck's Face is the one from S12
Donald and Douglas was a difficult one, but i nailed it down to this face:
(Apparently there's 2 of the same faces but slightly modified)
Bill's face, i honestly don't know, but its the closest to the smiling face
Ben's Face is the Later Jovial/Grinning Face
Mavis's Face is most likely based off her determined face from S9
Salty's Face is based off of his S9 Happy face
Emily's Face is based off of her smiling face from S11
Spencer's Face is most likely his S7 Satisfied Face
Well, that's all of the Model era inspired faces, there are also non rail vehicles, but i don't want to go into that. If you want to, for some of these faces you can modify they eyebrows to the ones of your favorite Series/Season, or you can go further and modify the mouth, like with Thomas and Percy for example:
Thanks for reading, hopefully you found this useful!
Ask questions for your favourite green engine!
They'll be answered at Tidmouth Sheds on the Island of Sodor by Henry and me.

I honestly think it's my most favorite Thomas models of all time. It captures all the detail of Thomas a lot. It's also based off of the brass model from the show! I wish I could buy it, but it's $750.00 in the US. Since I live in Canada, It's $907.96!! I think it'll never ship to my country.
That's right, guys. My next review is going to be out hopefully pretty soon, and as you can see, it's going to be one on Old Reliable Edward, thus making it my second CGI episode review. I haven't had much time to focus on big projects like this for a while because I've had my hands full with university assignments to complete, and I'm still in the process of recovering from all the hard preparation for a performance exam I had on Thursday, but this review should be out hopefully before too long. Anyway, this is an episode I've always gotten great enjoyment out of ever since I first watched it. Not only does it provide a perfect return to form for Edward, with a new scheming side of him that we haven't seen before, but Thomas and Gordon are also both utilised well with their classic personas intact. The voice acting is great in both dubs of the episode, too, although Martin Sherman's Thomas voice does get a bit grating on the "red pants" line. Keith Wickham is superb in the scene where Edward makes Gordon eat his words, and William Hope's rendition of the last line ("You're welcome, Gordon. Any time!") provides a nice icing on the cake, showing that at the end of the day, this is still the same kind and wise Edward we know from the classic era.
Anyhow, I shouldn't give too much away, since this is only a preview, but stay tuned for the review, whenever it comes out, which should be pretty soon.
Btw what category i shall put? Meme or game?
I did it again. This is it for me, as this is the farthest we can go with what we have here. Also same rules as last time. The same plot thing still applies.
Percy to the Rescue: Same plot.
Gordon Proves his Point: Pip and Emma are adapted, yeah. Like Bear previously, why not!? Same plot.
Oliver Gets the Bird: Same plot (a lot of these).
Percy's Passengers: Same plot.
Birdstirke: Same Plot.
James' Rest Cure: James grumbles about shunting to Pip, Emma, Bear and Henry at Knapford. Edward over hears this and offers to switch jobs with James. James agree's, but grumbles over having to take a train of Trucks instead of Shunting Trucks. James soon relises he'd much prefer to stay in the yards without Shunting Trucks.
Percy and the Brake Van: Same plot.
Post Early For Christmas: Same plot.
Sliding Scales: Same plot.
Thomas and the Hurricane: Same plot
Edward Cracks a Nut: Same plot.
Trucks for Scrap: Same plot, again.
Thomas and the Tickles: Same plot.
The Trouble with Sheep: Same plot.
Donald and Brakeways: Same plot.
Overloaded: Same plot.
Eels on Wheels: Same plot.
Toby's Vintage Train: Same plot
Deep Freeze: Same plot, but Bear rescues James.
Sir Handel's Plan: Same plot.
Dirty Water: Same plot.
Lost in Snow: Same plot.
Stick-in-the-Mud: Duncan is grumbling, and wants a story told to him. Rheneas tells him of Skarloey and him back during the Railways construction, the rest is the same plot.
Patience is a Virtue: Instead of the Tallyln, Sir Handel is going to Mountain. Gives them a role for the Series and makes them more relevant!
Sir Handel Comes Home: Sir Handel returns from Mountain Railway, but same plot other than that.
Golden Jubilee: Same plot
After season 5 Mrs. Kindley was never seen again in a development standpoint its because they did not have a large scale Mrs.Kindley but from a storytelling standpoint I believe it's because that Mrs. Kindley moved in with her daughter and her house was nowhere near the railway but I want to say that in December she stays back at her old house to see Thomas and toby
When I was exploring Thomas & Friends on Wikipedia, I found that in the Thomas & Friends template, it says that one of the shows "related" to this one is JAY JAY THE JET PLANE. Come on, seriously?! How is Jay Jay the Jet Plane even related to Thomas?!
