על יד הנמל (באנגלית: Down by the Docks) הוא שיר מהעונה השישית המוקדש לנמל ברנדאם. לימים נערך השיר והועלה עם קליפ חדש בהנפשה ממוחשבת במסגרת "המסע העולמי של תומס ביוטיוב" ב-11 במרץ 2015.

השיר בוצע מחדש על ידי רוברט הרטשורן בפרק "לא מועילים בכלום" מהעונה התשע עשרה.

הצילום מהפרק "תומס, פרסי ורכבת הדואר" משמש פעמיים ומהופך לקראת סוף השיר.
בגרסת "המסע העולמי של תומס ביוטיוב" הושמטה השורה "We are the workers stoking the boilers of Sodor's industry".
זהו שיר "תומס הקטר וחברים" הראשון שבוצע במסגרת פרק ("לא מועילים בכלום").
סולטי שר בגרסה היפנית.
בִּתחילת השיר מושמע שחזור קצר של "נעימת החילוצים המסוכנים" מהסדרה "גוררות".
