The Ōigawa Railway (大井川鐵道, Ōigawa Tetsudō) is a Japanese heritage railway. The company operates two lines: the Ōigawa Main Line and the Ikawa Line. It also operates a bus route in Sumatakyō Onsen, Kawanehon.
The railway is home to replicas based on various characters from the television series.
A fictionalised version of the railway appears in the Japan-exclusive book Thomas Comes to Japan, which features characters based on various real engines which work on the Ōigawa Railway's Main Line. In the book, Thomas, James and Percy visit the railway from the Island of Sodor.
