A Day on Awdry's Railway is a 2021 film showcasing Wilbert Awdry's Ffarquhar Mk II model railway being operated to the timetable he devised. It was filmed in the Awdry Study at the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum at the Talyllyn Railway in Tywyn, Wales.
In the film, the layout is operated by Talyllyn Railway volunteer, Luke Ryan. Footage of the layout being operated is set to an archived audio recording of Wilbert Awdry himself narrating the operations. This narration is a reading of the script Awdry would recite when displaying the layout at exhibitions. In some parts of the film, a second narrator's voice can be heard, though this person is uncredited.
The film was initially released as a limited edition DVD on 14 August, 2021. It was available through the official Talyllyn Railway online store as well as the railway's gift shop. It was re-released later the same year, likely due to popular demand. It includes a previously unreleased audio interview with Wilbert Awdry as a special feature.
