Animal Antics! is a magazine story illustrated using photographs from the television series.
Plot
It is an ordinary day for Thomas, until he stops. Up ahead, there is an elephant on the track. The zoo keeper is giving it cakes to tempt it off the tracks. Meanwhile, an angry bull has escaped from Collett's Farm. A dalmatian dog barks at the bull which scares it, and Farmer Collett is able to take the bull back to the farm. It is not such an ordinary day, after all.

- The photos are taken from two fourth series episodes, Bulls Eyes and Henry and the Elephant, as well as two fifth series episodes, Something in the Air, and Gordon and the Gremlin. However the story is very different.
- This is one of the few stories illustrated using images from the TV series that isn't the same as the TV series.
