Stray Animal Wagons
Whenever an animal strays onto the line or gets lost, the engines use these 4-wheel wagons to take it home or to another destination. They are open wagons, with folding sides that act as ramps.
Charlie used one to take a stray elephant back to the Sodor Animal Park. Thomas also used one to take a stray cow back to McColl Farm. Thomas later used one of these wagons to deliver coconuts to Varkala Railway Station while he was visiting India. During Christmas, Thomas would use these wagons to transport the zoo animals to Tidmouth Sheds to keep them warm.
