April Fools is a magazine story.
Plot
Bill and his crew think they are late, but Ben's driver explains he moved the clock hands half an hour forward as an April Fool's prank. Bill and Ben decide to play April Fools' jokes on the other engines: they tell James he has got a scratch on his paintwork. Gordon there are important passengers waiting for him at the harbour and Diesel he has got a wobbly wheel. After realising that they have been tricked, the three decide to get their own back: Gordon tells the twins a famous author is coming the next day. Bill and Ben work hard so that the author will write about them, until they realise the other engines are playing a prank on them.
