Arlesburgh

Arlesburgh is a seaside town and popular tourist hotspot on Sodor's west coast based on both sides of the River Arle Estuary. The town is served by both the North Western and Arlesdale railways.

Did you know? Several early maps of Sodor, including ones drawn by the Reverend W. Awdry, have Arlesburgh spelt as "Arlsburgh". This spelling also appears on a signpost in the first series episode, Toby and the Stout Gentleman.
