Arlesburgh West, also known as Arlesburgh Junction and Arlesburgh Town, is a seaside station on Sodor's west coast based on both sides of the River Arle Estuary. The station is served by both the North Western and Arlesdale railways and is the exchange station for both railways.

Trivia

• In the French dub, Arlesburgh Junction is called "le carrefour de Calembourg". "Calembour" means pun, so it is a pun on being a pun.
• Arlesburgh West underwent several changes in the twentieth series:
  • The standard gauge platform gained a footbridge connected to the Arlesburgh West station so passengers could now transfer between railways.
  • The engine shed changed in design, gaining three roads so that Bert, Rex and Mike could now fit inside at the same time.
  • The ballast loader changed colour from green to grey, although this is not consistent as it still appears green in some scenes.
