Official Description

From the Writer's Bible:

Arlesdale End: A small, rarely used branch line station, which is Toby's home. It has a single line and platform. Toby's shed is also here. Serviced by Thomas, Percy and Bertie the Bus, as well as Toby.

Trivia

  • When the station returned in the tenth series, the model makers mistakenly modelled it after Lower Arlesburgh station, including the nearby pond.
  • In the French dub of the model series, the station is called "la gare du bois-t-au fu" (meaning: "the station of the woods at the end"). Following the switch to CGI, it became 'la gare du forêt pelée" (meaning:" the station of the bare forest").
  • In maps by David Mitton, Arlesdale End directly replaces the station of Arlesdale from The Railway Series. The 2014 map by former Railway Consultant Sam Wilkinson moves the station south of Arlesdale mountain, to account for the Arlesdale Railway being adapted into the television series.
