Ashima's Amazing Arrival is the fourth episode of the second series of Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go.
Plot[]
When Ashima is set to arrive on Sodor, Thomas and his friends attempt to go the extra mile in order to make the island seem fantastic! Thomas plans an extraordinary welcome that includes a tiger, painted dock, and big dance number. But when the spectacular plan gets ruined at every turn, the friends imperfect welcome still makes Ashima's arrival extra special.

- This episode marks the first of three things for Ashima:
- Her first appearance in All Engines Go.
- Her first appearance since the original series episode, Shankar's Makeover.
- The first time her name is pronounced correctly, it was previously pronounced incorrectly in the original series.
Goofs[]
- Clarabel has Annie's ornate pattern.
- Cranky is missing his blank nameplate on a few occasions throughout the episode.
- At various points during the dance number, Percy's number and face are layered over the multicoloured smoke and - at one point near the end - his number disappears entirely for a frame.
