Thomas the Tank Engine Wiki

Behaving Badly! is a 1993 magazine story.

Plot[]

One morning, Thomas and Percy are having difficulty shunting some troublesome trucks in the Main Station yard, with the trucks deciding to hit the engines into buffers and spilling their cargo. BoCo soon arrives to take the trucks to the Big Harbour, and becomes worried when Thomas and Percy tell him about how poorly they were behaving. After having to stop at a signal, the trucks deliberately bump into him, snapping his coupling so he cannot pull them to the harbour.

Luckily, BoCo's driver notices an old siding behind them, and shunts the truck into the siding. He plans to call the Fat Controller and tell him where the trucks are, but the trucks do not hear that and believe that BoCo abandoned them in the siding to rust. At last, Thomas comes to pick them up, and the trucks behave splendidly as he pulls them into the harbour yard. Thomas says that trucks should be Really Useful, not troublesome, to which the trucks happily agree.
