Big Bang Surprise is a DVD which was released in the UK free with the Merry Christmas, Thomas! UK DVD. It contains five episodes from the sixteenth series.

Description

It is Sodor Surprise Day but Gordon thinks that surprises are silly so Thomas tries to change his mind but one of his surprises goes very wrong! Percy treats everyone to a musical delight, Thomas takes a famous composer on a tour of the Island and it's The Fat Controller's birthday so the engines must work together to deliver his very special birthday present!

Although it was an exclusive DVD that came free with the Merry Christmas, Thomas! UK DVD, it is also available as a Digital Download.
This is the last UK DVD to feature Engine Driver Segments between episodes.
The episodes on this DVD were later put on Wild Water Rescue and Other Engine Adventures in the US expect Sodor Surprise Day.
