Bontonfilm is a Czech distribution company that releases various DVDs across Czechia and Slovakia. They have distributed Thomas & Friends DVDs in Czechia in 2009. They have also released DVDs from other well known children's programmes, including Postman Pat and Pat & Mat. They have also released other HiT Entertainment properties such as Bob the Builder and Fireman Sam.
For unknown reasons, just after one release each, HiT Entertainment parted ways with Bontonfilm, and distribution rights to both Thomas & Friends and Fireman Sam were sold off to other companies, with one of them being True Media Experience.
