'''Brendam Docks''', which is often referred to as '''The Docks''', is one of the [[Island of Sodor (T&F)|Island of Sodor]]'s most famous ports. It is located on the coast of [[Brendam (T&F)|Brendam]], at the end of [[Brendam Branch Line (T&F)|Edward's Branch Line]].

==History==
Brendam Docks is Sodor's main port. The [[Sodor Shipping Company (T&F)|Sodor Shipping Company]] has at least one large warehouse located here. Cranky and Big Mickey are stationed along the western edge of the dock to load and unload cargo from ships. The two cranes were later joined by Carly, who runs on a specially-built section of track between them. At one point, a large open-sided shed was situated next to Cranky. This was later accidentally knocked over by a load of pipes Cranky dropped and was never rebuilt.{{Ref|[[Thomas & Friends|T&F]] [[Series 6|S6]] #3 "[[No Sleep for Cranky]]"}} 

Salty, who loves to work at the docks and tell tales of the sea, was bought by Sir Topham Hatt to work here shunting trucks. Some years later, Porter arrived to assist Salty with the heavy workloads.

Since the seventeenth series, [[The Flying Kipper (T&F)|the Flying Kipper]] has picked up fish from Brendam. [[The Express (T&F)|The Express]] also stops here once a day to pick up passengers from liners such as the [[S.S. The docks experienced a particularly hectic period when Salty fell into the sea and Porter was taken out of action due to flour clogging his funnel. Initially, [[Den]] was sent to help. However, the job was later re-assigned to [[Percy (T&F)|Percy]] after the doors at the [[Vicarstown Dieselworks]] malfunctioned, trapping the engines there inside.
