"Bulgy's Bridge" is the nickname given to a bridge that Bulgy once got stuck under and damaged. A chicken farm and cricket field are located nearby.
History[]
After tricking the passengers into thinking he was a railway bus, Bulgy became wedged under the bridge while attempting to use a shortcut to reach Knapford before Duck. Bulgy was later removed from underneath the bridge after Duck took the passengers home. The bridge was fixed using wooden boards to secure the broken middle section to the rest of the bridge.[1]
Stepney once stopped on the top of the bridge to watch a cricket match in the neighbouring field.[2]
Shortly after Harvey's arrival on Sodor, Percy had a crash here with some Troublesome Trucks and blocked the road, preventing Bertie from bringing the Railway Board members to Harvey's demonstration. The mess was eventually cleared up by Harvey, proving himself to the board earning him his place on the railway.[3]

Trivia[]
- In its debut episode, the bridge has a sign that reads 14' 9" for clearance. Since the fourth series, the sign has been removed.
- The bridge's model has been seen at several other locations around Sodor, including:
- As a separate bridge with a single railway line running underneath in the fifth series episode Lady Hatt's Birthday Party and the eighth series episodes Don't Tell Thomas and Gordon Takes Charge.
- As a tunnel’s portal in the fifth series episode Thomas and the Rumours.
- As Hackenbeck Tunnel’s portal in the fifth series episode Happy Ever After.
- As part of a separate runby next to another bridge in Thomas and the Magic Railroad.
- The 2014 television series map of the Island of Sodor incorrectly notes the bridge as being south of Haultraugh - its original placement in The Railway Series - despite the show depicting otherwise.
