Mr. Jolly is the owner of Mr. Jolly's Chocolate Factory.
Biography[]
Every day, one of the engines has to go to the factory where their trucks are filled with Mr. Jolly's world famous chocolate bars and other confections. His chocolate is so popular that, on occasion, Harold has been employed to deliver it to places that the engines cannot get to.

Bert Coke is a coal merchant who is the owner of a stall at a large market in a town along Thomas' Branch Line. He also owns a red lorry.

When Thomas ran out of coal after making a delivery to the market, his driver and fireman purchased six bags of coal from Bert Coke.

The Café Owner[]
The Café Owner is a retired engine driver who is the owner of a café next to the seaside.
Biography[]
One day, the café burnt down and the owner was very upset. Thomas had an idea though and soon Sir Topham Hatt sent an old coach which has been taken out of service to be refitted. Thomas then took it to a seaside siding where it was transformed into a popular new café.

Mr. Binn[]
Mr. Binn is the owner of Mobile Grocer's. He drives a mobile grocery van.
Biography[]
Thomas often whistles to Mr. Binn as he drives the van to deliver groceries to different customers. One time, the van broke down on a level crossing, leaving Mr. Binn without any way to deliver his orders. Thomas got the idea to help deliver the groceries for him across his line. Mr. Binn eventually got the van repaired and Thomas noticed that it featured a large sign thanking him for his help.

The End of the Rainbow Owner[]
The End of the Rainbow Owner is the owner of a shop called "The End of the Rainbow".
Biography[]
The owner once arranged with Sir Topham Hatt to have some wagons repainted in bright colours with his shop name on the sides. Then, he asked for James to do the stock run from the shop pulling the wagons. With bright red James at the front, the train looked like a rainbow which was good publicity for his shop.

Mr. Savino is the owner of a coffee shop located close to the main station.
Biography[]
Mr. Savino's coffee shop nearly did not open in time when Cranky accidentally dropped his coffee roasting machine into the sea. Luckily, the problem was solved by Thomas, who suggested roasting the coffee beans in Stepney's firebox.

Mr. T. Drysdale, also known as the signwriter, is the owner of T. Drysdale Signwriter.
Biography[]
Mr. T. Drysdale is also a talented artist. Thomas once asked the signwriter to paint a mural of some passengers to hang on the wall by Annie to cheer her up while she waited for a refit. The signwriter drives a green with his company's details on the sides.

Simon is the owner of Simon's Express Sandwich Service.
Biography[]
Simon drives an orange-brown van, which he uses to distribute sandwiches all over the island. Once, Gordon incorrectly thought that Simon was going to replace his express and completed his run in record time. In doing so, Gordon broke the dining car's cooker. Sir Topham Hatt then rung Simon to order some sandwiches to feed the hungry passengers.

Jim is the owner of a fish and chips shop and is good friends with Sir Topham Hatt. When his car broke down, it was the Fat Controller who came to Jim's rescue.

One night, Mr. Ball dozed off on James' train and got off at the wrong station. As there were no more trains running, he phoned his wife who suggested for him to take a walk back home. He enjoyed the stroll so much that by the next day he bought some walking boots from Sodor Trek and Leisure.

The Beach Railway Owner, referred to as the visitor, is the owner of the Beach Railway.
Biography[]
When the owner first planned the Beach Railway, he told Sir Topham Hatt about it. Thomas overheard their conversation and told it to Percy. The owner then took photographs of Thomas and Percy and he stated that he would like the two engines for his railway and, to their shock, Sir Topham Hatt agreed. This caused uncertainty among Thomas, Percy and BoCo. Next morning, the engines explained what they heard to Sir Topham Hatt, who told them that they were not be going anywhere. Sometime later, Thomas saw the Beach Railway with the owner driving a miniature replica engine of him.

Biography[]
Thomas once helped Bob Flowers by transporting boxes of flowers that he needed to use for his float in a carnival. Bob later helped Thomas' driver enter the "Blooming Railways" contest by helping to decorate a station with flower seeds and bulbs.
