CR Brake Vans

Caledonian Railway Brake Vans are a type of goods brake van used on the North Western Railway.

Basis[]

These brake vans are based on the Caledonian Railway's 15 ton four-wheeled brake vans. Thirty-seven examples of this type of brake van were constructed between 1903 and 1908 for use on short-distance goods trains.

Livery[]

These brake vans are painted brown with dark grey roofs and either black or white handrails.
