During his time in Australia, a bushfire began in The Kuranda Rainforest and Thomas helped to evacuate the animals as he brought them to the safety of Cairns station.[1]

- The station is redressed from Dryaw.
- Concept art reveals that the station was actually based on Tarcoola Station in South Australia and Regatta Point Station in Tasmania, rather than Cairns station itself.
- In the twenty-fourth series, a second platform was added to the station.
