The "Carols on Wheels" is a specially modified Troublesome Truck, designed to carry carolers during the Christmas season.
Biography
When a carol concert was cancelled because of bad weather, Thomas borrowed a Troublesome Truck from the shunting yards and asked Sir Topham Hatt to have it converted into a "Carols on Wheels", to which he agreed. Mrs. Kyndley was later surprised when she heard the carols near her house.

Basis
"Carols on Wheels" is a loosely based on a 7-plank open wagon with its sides removed and a roof added so that carollers can be seen and heard.

"Carols on Wheels" is painted grey with brown frames and a white roof. It has a yellow banner with red lettering on both sides.

- In real life, riding in a truck without sides would not be permitted, as it is very dangerous.
