The City Circle Tram is based on the W-class Melbourne tram and named after the real tram of the same name running around the Melbourne City Centre in Australia. Tracy shares the same basis. The City Circle Tram was first introduced for the convenience of tourists due to its zero-fare public transport and the tram route was introduced on 29 April 1994.
