Crovan's Gate is a town in the centre of Sodor. The town's station is the meeting place of the Skarloey Railway and North Western Railway. It is also the location of Sodor Steamworks, where the engines go to be repaired.

Crovan's Gate Station - the main railway station for the town of Crovan's Gate and the interchange between the North Western Railway and the Skarloey Railway.
Crovan's Gate Yards - a large shunting yard to the east of the station.
- Crovan's Gate Sheds - a six-berth standard gauge roundhouse nearby the yards.
- Skarloey Railway Engine Sheds - the sheds for the narrow gauge engines, situated across from the standard gauge yard next to the Main Line.
Sodor Steamworks - the North Western Railway's main workshop, which is home to Victor and Kevin.

Trivia[]

The fourth series model of Crovan's Gate station has a box image of a Märklin #5440 "Maxi" Starter Set as a poster cut from the Märklin catalogue.^[1]^[2]
A section of the station terminus and four supports and the end sections for the canopy are now owned by Twitter user ThomasTankMerch.^[2]
In the French dub, the station was named "La Porte de Crovan", which is the literal translation for Crovan's Gate.
Crovan's Gate seems to be the North Western Railway's eastern terminus in Series 4, as Stepney and Duck bring The Express "halfway" for Gordon to take back the way they came.
