Crystal Cavern is the sixth short of the Short Story Adventures series.
Plot[]
Nia arrives at the mines to find Gordon grumbling at the entrance; as it turns out, he and Thomas have to deliver ties to the bottom of the mine, but he can't enter because his lamp burned out. Nia offers to light his way to the bottom, but as soon as they enter Gordon's flatbed runs away from them and a chase ensues. The two manage to make their way to the Crystal Cave and admire it before a falling rock breaks Nia's light. Left in the dark, Nia discovers that tapping the crystals makes them glow, allowing her and Gordon to find the flatbed. Thomas then arrives in the middle of their celebration, and as soon as Nia clues him in, he joins the fun as all three head for the bottom of the mine.

- This is the first short to not use a character's name in the title.
Goofs[]
- When Thomas shows up, his smokebox frames are missing.
- Gordon calls his light a headlight, when it should be called a lamp.
- In the scene before they enter the mine, Gordon's tender is smaller, but his tender wheel base is larger.
- When Nia and Gordon were going down the hill in the mine, Gordon's running board is completely red and the front of it is flat.
- When Nia finds Gordon's cargo, her coal bunker is missing.
