― Wilson and Diesel

Diesel's Seagull is the eighth short of the Short Story Adventures series.

Plot[]

As Diesel rolls past the coast on a pipe delivery, he goes past a seagull, one who lands on his head and continually calls him its mother, much to Diesel's frustration. Eventually warming up to the wayward bird, Diesel names it "Wilson" before continuing to Brendam Docks. Despite losing the seagull to a tree branch, Diesel manages to get Wilson and his pipes to Cranky, who is quick to mock the little engine for his feathery passenger. However, both share a tender moment when Wilson reunites with his mother. While Cranky is quick to get back to work, he does encourage Diesel to take a little duckling home when it shows up at the docks.
