Diesel and the Troublesome Trucks is a book illustrated using photos from the television series.
Plot
When Henry has an accident, Diesel is the only engine available to do Henry's jobs. Diesel soon sets out to prove he is the world's strongest engine. But the engines learn even trucks can do you a favour by getting rid of Diesel.

Trivia
- This book is based on the sixth series episode, The World's Strongest Engine.
- In the book, it is said that Diesel crash lands into Bulstrode, who says "Ouch!". However, in the episode it is based upon, he actually crashes on a generic red barge.
Goofs
- The text says that Diesel landed on Bulstrode, but the barge is not Bulstrode, but he does not appear in the episode.
- Diesel falls off the quay face-first, but lands cab-first.
