- This episode was made to promote the DC Super Friends theme for the Minis range.
- This is the first episode of the Thomas Creator Collective for a few things:
- The first episode to feature a sequence animated in full CGI, this being when Diesel saves Thomas.
- The first episode in which all characters are represented by only one merchandise range, that being Minis.
- The only other official Thomas & Friends merchandise range used in this episode is Wooden Railway, albeit only for buildings, set dressing and the two fuel tankers.
- Due to 'Arry being unavailable in Minis form, a Neon Bert is used as a stand-in for him.
Goofs[]
- The party is said by Paxton to be held in Knapford Yards, but is instead shown to be at the station.
