Discovery Kids is a Latin American and Brazilian television channel, it used to air Thomas & Friends episodes. It aired episodes from the first to fifth series and later on with episodes from the eighth series to the twenty-first series. The series premiered on August 5th, 2002, in Latin America, and had its last airing of the series on January 1st, 2018 with Journey Beyond Sodor.
The company was launched on November 1st, 1996, and its headquarters are located in Miami, Florida, United States.
