Chloe was a Welsh Corgi that was owned by Kathryn Holland, the daughter of illustrator C. Reginald Dalby. All three make a cameo appearance at Tidmouth in the fifth illustration of Tenders and Turntables.[1]

The Stone-dropping Boys were accompanied by a dog.
Biography[]
The dog joined the boys when they dropped stones on Henry. Later, when Henry approached the bridge, he sneezed ashes on the boys, causing them and their dog to run away, covered in soot and cinders.
