Don Black, CBE, (born on June 21st, 1938 in London, England, UK) is an English lyricist who helped with the music for Thomas and the Magic Railroad.

He is best known for writing for numerous films and television shows, including the "James Bond" series. He also collaborated with famous film and Broadway composers and singers, including Michael Jackson, John Barry, and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
