Douglas Welbat (born on 25th April 1957 in Berlin) is a German film producer, actor, director, voice actor, screenwriter and managing director of movieCompany and Zipfelmützenfilm GmbH, who provided a voice in the German audiobooks of Thomas & Friends.
He is married to Katja Brügger and is the father of Daniel Welbat.
He is known for narrating many audiobook series, including "Bob the Builder", taking over the role of The Cookie Monster from "Sesame Street" from his father Alexander and playing several roles in "The Three Investigators".
