Dryaw is a small village and station on Thomas' Branch Line. An airfield is located nearby.

History

Dryaw station consists of two platforms connected by a footbridge, with the western platform having a station building. It is served by Thomas' Branch Line, although engines from the Main Line are also seen travelling here, taking trains between Knapford and Elsbridge. Since the nineteenth series episode Reds vs. Blues, Dryaw FC has been located on the eastern side of the station.

From the Writer's Bible:

Dryad Station: A small country branch line station with twin platforms and three lines. The station backs onto Harold the Helicopter's Airfield, his home. The line leads to Elsbridge Junction Station.
(Note that Dryaw is misspelled as Dryad.)

Trivia

  • In the 2003 Writers bible, Dryaw was misspelled as "Dryad".
  • In the French dub, Dryaw is not referred to by name, but the station is referred to by epithet: "la gare des fleurs" (meaning: the station of the flowers).
