“Tell me one thing I've ever lost?"
"You're always losing your temper!"
―Diesel and Duck

Duck and Diesel is a short magazine story.

Duck returns home late to the shed. Diesel teases him for this, but Duck explains that he found a truck left on the Main Line and took it back to the yard. Diesel scoffs and states that he never loses anything. Duck corrects him by saying that Diesel always loses his temper. Diesel growls and then leaves the shed.

  • Throughout the story, Duck is in the shed to the left (viewer's right) of Diesel, but in the last illustration, he is to the right of Diesel.
