Korean Educational Broadcasting System (Korean: 한국교육방송공사; RR: Hanguggyoyugbangsong-gongsa) or EBS is a South Korean educational public radio and television network covering South Korean territory, and the only major South Korean radio and television network joint venture Ministry of Science and ICT and Ministry of Education without a separate regional service. It was established as KBS 3 and KBS Educational Radio in the 1980s, and became an independent corporation in 1990, It aired the fifth to fifteenth series, excluding the eleventh series between 2004 and 2013.
