Edward "Eddie" Glen is a Canadian actor and voice actor who provided the voices of Thomas in Thomas and the Magic Railroad in the final script and Toby in the US dub of Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go. He was originally set to provide the voice of Percy in the former, replacing Michael Angelis, but was replaced himself by Linda Ballantyne.

He is best known for voicing Squire Flicker from "Blazing Dragons", Wyatt Smith and Barthez from "Beyblade", Akira Tsukuba from "Odin-Starlight Mutiny", Roll Kran from "Dangaioh", Ryoma from "Power Stone", and Gordy Rhinehart from "Angela Anaconda". He is also known for narrating commercials for the Canadian television channel YTV.

  • He replaced John Bellis due to test audiences saying that the latter sounded too old.
  • He is the only voice actor to voice Thomas in both English-speaking regions.
  • He, Joe Matheson and Graham Harley were all in a Monkees TV biopic titled "Daydream Belivers: The Monkees' Story".
  • Glen is the second voice actor from Thomas and the Magic Railroad to return for Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go, the first being Neil Crone.
  • Glen is the second actor to voice both Thomas and Toby, the first being Ben Small in the original Thomas & Friends series. However, Small voiced both characters simultaneously, while Glen voiced Toby twenty-three years after he voiced Thomas. Furthermore, Small voiced the two of them in the same incarnation, while Glen voiced the two of them in two different incarnations.
  • He originally auditioned for the role of Percy for Thomas and the Magic Railroad, until the producers wanted him to do pickup lines for Thomas that they chose to change his role.[2]
    • At one point during production, he had recorded lines for James as well.
