Ellen Philpott is a children's author and editor. She began her career as an editorial assistant for Parragon Books before moving to Penguin's Ladybird imprint as an editor. Since 2012, she has been freelance and her clients include Mattel, Ladybird Books and Quarto Publishing Group.
