Elsdale

Elsdale is a disused station next to a railway intersection. According to former Railway Consultant Sam Wilkinson's map of Sodor, it is located on the Loop Line. A farm is located nearby at the bottom of a steep hill.

History[]

When a road was being paved over the old line next to the station, Percy brought George to the site. As revenge for being ignored by Thomas when he passed by, George paved over the railway line at the intersection, causing Thomas to derail into a field and crash through a chicken coop.^[1]

One of the buildings from Skarloey station was repurposed for this station.
The station was given its name by former Railway Consultant Sam Wilkinson for his map of the Island of Sodor.^[2] Its name and specific location are not specified within the fifth series itself. In the first draft of Bye George!, however, it is said to be on Thomas' Branch Line.
