Family Jr.

Family Jr. was a Canadian children's television channel owned by WildBrain (formerly known as DHX Media until 2019).

Thomas & Friends aired on the channel from 24 May 2015 until 31 August 2018. The channel also aired Thomas and the Magic Railroad in 2017.

The channel was originally called Playhouse Disney when the channel launched 2007 and was renamed Disney Junior in 2011. However when Corus Entertainment bought the Disney programming rights from DHX, they rebranded all their Disney branded channels as spin-offs of Family Channel. Disney Junior was renamed Family Jr. in September 2015.

Thomas & Friends also aired on the channel's French counterpart, Télémagino.

On 25 August 2025, WildBrain announced that Family Jr. (along with its sister channels Family Channel, WildBrainTV and Télémagino) would shut down. The network ceased broadcasting on 23 October 2025 at 6:00 AM Eastern.
