Biography[]
One winter, Farmer Finney brought Terence to help rescue Thomas, Annie and Clarabel after they ran into a snowdrift outside of Hackenbeck Tunnel.[3]
During the Christmas of 1952, Farmer Finney again brought Terence to help clear snow away from Mrs. Kyndley's Cottage.[4]
In 1987, Farmer Finney brought Terence to Ffarquhar to do Percy's shunting while he was away.[5]
In 2007, Farmer Finney was building a new barn. While he and Terence were bringing rocks to help build it, he had to swerve to avoid a boulder near Hackenbeck Tunnel, causing the trailer to fall down the cutting. Farmer Finney warned Thomas' crew of the danger by telephoning the nearest signal box.[6]
