Ffarquhar is a village and the top station of Thomas' Branch Line. A line leading to Ffarquhar Quarry and Arlesdale End is located here.
History
When Thomas first got his branch line, Glynn was situated in an abandoned siding next to the station.[1] He was later moved to another siding in a forest and forgotten about. During the third series, a new line was constructed to connect the line up to the quarry with Arlesdale End on Toby's Branch Line.
Since the nineteenth series, a balloon loop has been located east of the station, allowing trains to turn around for return trips to Knapford without the engine needing to uncouple and use a turntable.[2]

- Ffarquhar Station - the main station for the town of Ffarquhar.
- Ffarquhar Yards - a small shunting yard next to Ffarquhar station.
- The Quarry Tramroad - a winding tram line leading up to Ffarquhar Quarry.
- Ffarquhar River Bridge - a wooden bridge along the Quarry Tramroad which Toby once got stuck on.
- Old Ferry Barge - an abandoned wagon ferry across a small pond, which Thomas was once pushed onto by some Troublesome Trucks.
- Ffarquhar Quarry - a stone quarry north of the town of Ffarquhar, which is home to Mavis.
- Ffarquhar Loop - a balloon loop to the east of the station.

Trivia
- Ffarquhar is Thomas' favourite station.[3]
- The original model of Ffarquhar station is owned by Twitter user TomsProps. For a time, the sign was stolen by Sam Wilkinson.
- Alec Baldwin and Michael Angelis incorrectly pronounced the silent second “f”s in the name.
- According to the 1983 map made for the first series, a small engine shed is located here, most likely used by Thomas to rest after his journeys to Ffarquhar.
