Ffarquhar Loop is a balloon loop at the end of the Ffarquhar Branch Line. The loop is used by engines such as Thomas and Toby, to turn around on return passenger runs from Ffarquhar to Knapford.

- Though the loop first appears on-screen in the nineteenth series episode Thomas the Babysitter - released in 2016 - it was first mentioned in the 1990 magazine story Thomas and the Football.
