Ffarquhar Sheds is the main shed for the engines that work on the Ffarquhar Branch Line.
History[]
Ffarquhar Sheds began as a red-brick single road shed built for Thomas when he was rewarded with the branch line in 1925. When the Fat Controller bought Toby, Henrietta and Elsie from East Anglia to Sodor in 1951, a new white stone shed was added on. The shed remained so until Percy left Tidmouth to work at the harbour in 1955 when a second white stone section of the shed was added.
The Carriage Shed is located right next to the engine shed. Shortly after Daisy arrived in 1960, Toby was moved to Knapford Sheds, to take workmen from there to work every morning, but Toby still stays in this shed from time to time during the day.
