Ffarquhar Yards is a shunting yard located at Ffarquhar. The branch line's main engine and carriage sheds are located here.

History[]

When the branch line beginning at Knapford was extended from Elsbridge to Ffarquhar in 1925, the yards was built alongside the new station. Two sheds for Thomas, Annie and Clarabel were built here, which would later be expanded when Percy, Toby and Daisy arrived.

In 1960, Thomas crashed into the stationmaster's house at the end of the yard. In the same year, another incident occurred in the yard when Percy ran out of control and crashed into some trucks in the stone sidings.

Years later, when Percy needed to visit the works, Diesel came to shunt trucks in the yard, however he smashed some misbehaving trucks through some buffers, which got him into trouble.
