New York, often called New York City, is the most populous city in the United States.
Connie arrived here in A Wonderful American Journey with Thomas and Connie, on her way to a Day Out with Thomas event.
Thomas once visited the city during his journey around the world, where he travelled on a metropolitan line. When he came out of it, he was lifted by a crane who was building a skyscraper.
From 2014 to 2016, a Thomas Balloon float was used for the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade held every year in New York since 1924. A promotional video was released to promote the first public appearance of the balloon.
In Big World! Big Adventures!, Sir Topham Hatt suggests that perhaps Thomas is touring Times Square during the song, Where in the World is Thomas?
