The Indian Railway Shunting Yard is a large shunting yard in India.
History[]
During Thomas' journey around the world, he and Nia travelled through the shunting yard on their way back to Sodor. It was here that the yard signalman spotted them and informed Mr. Percival of their whereabouts.[1]
Once, when Thomas visited India again, the yard was used as the set for a Bollywood movie.[2] Another time, the yard hosted a fancy costume contest.[3]
