Playing Around with Thomas & Friends is a series of videos released on the official Thomas & Friends YouTube channel featuring My First Thomas Railway Pals, Minis, Wood and TrackMaster Toys. The first four videos were animated in CGI and feature a voice cast, while the following videos were stop motion-animated and verbless.

- This video was made with animated versions of the Railway Pals range.
- In this video, Harold's favourite colour is revealed to be orange, Rosie's favourite colour is also revealed to be purple (of which is lavender (her original colour) in a darker shade).
- In addition, Thomas, Percy, and James all revealed that their favourite colours are the colours they are all painted: blue, green, and red, respectively.
- Tidmouth Sheds has been reduced from seven berths to five. Its appearance is akin to some merchandise (Wooden Railway, Wood, Take Along and Take-n-Play) and the All Engines Go series.
