Description

Malaysia

Thomas, the small, mischievous engine lives with all of his friends on the Island of Sodor. They all happily work together on the railway. However, not everything goes well all the time and the little blue engine often has to face a lot of unexpected problems. In the end, they can usually congratulate each other on being Really Useful Engines.

  1. Thomas and the Toy Shop - A new toy shop is opening on the island and Thomas is desperate to get involved. He's very proud when Sir Topham Hatt asks him to take the children to the grand opening. At the Docks, Thomas spots Henry, stuck on a blocked line, unable to collect the toys from the toy shop. Thomas volunteers to help...
  2. Duncan and the Old Mine - The Narrow Gauge engines are carrying coal from the mountains down to the island. Duncan doesn't think that pulling coal trucks is very exciting, so when he sees an old disused track, he sees the opportunity for an adventure. He is soon stuck in a disused mine. Rusty becomes worried and sets off to look for Duncan...
  3. Thomas' Day Off - Dennis is a new diesel engine on Sodor and he's given the job of taking some roof tiles to the school while Thomas has the day off. Dennis is a very lazy engine and does his best to get Thomas to do his jobs for him. Dennis pretends to break down and Thomas goes for help. While he's away, Dennis leaves the tiles and races away. But he races too fast and comes off the rails...

Trivia

  • The South African DVD features 5.1 surround sound audio, however, only the front two channels have any audio in them, while the other channels only contain silence.
