The Dove[]
The Dove is a steam trawler which can be seen at Arlesburgh Harbour, Brendam Docks and the Fishing Village.

The Dove is based a trawler built at Boulogne circa 1920, which was in turn based on the British Castle & Mersey boats.
Livery[]
The Dove's superstructure is painted white, while its hull is painted black on the top half and red at the bottom. Its funnel is red with a black stripe at the top. In the Model Series, The Dove's name was painted on the sides of its bow in white, however, this was not present in the CGI Series.

The Shrimpers[]
The Shrimpers are a group of small fishing boats used to harvest shrimp. They were previously seen at Brendam Canal, Brendam Docks, Suddery Coastal Village, Tidmouth Beach, the Seaside Village, and the Regatta.

The Shrimpers are based on small fishing boats dating from the 1920s.
Livery[]
The first shrimper has a dark blue superstructure, a black funnel, a Bluish-white hull and white lining. The second shrimper has a mahogany superstructure and a cream-white hull. The third shrimper has a green superstructure, a white hull with a slight green tint and a deep red keel. The fourth shrimper has a mahogany superstructure, and a bluish-white hull with black splash rails. The fifth shrimper has a light blue superstructure, a mahogany cabin and a light blue hull. In the latter half of the third series, the fifth shrimper was repainted greyish brown.

Trivia[]
- The shrimpers originally appeared in the Thomas & Friends' sister series, TUGS.
- Between the latter half of the third series and fourth series, the shrimpers were repainted, modified with new superstructures and some had names painted on the sides of the bow.
- One of the newly modified shrimpers was named Jacqueline and the fifth shrimper was named Katherine in Series 4.
- Due to the fact these models were never seen after the fifth series, it can be assumed that it was destroyed during the transit back from Canada after Thomas and the Magic Railroad filming wrapped up.
- In Big World! Big Adventures!, a picture of the Shrimpers at Suddery Coastal Village is seen inside the Sailor's Cafe.

Mare Nostrum[]
Mare Nostrum is a Mediterranean fishing trawler which was previously beached at Tidmouth Beach and later dry-docked at the Fishing Village.

Mare Nostrum is based upon a Mediterranean fishing trawler of the same name. Mare Nostrum was built at the Spanish harbour of Arenys de Mar. It has an overall length of 15 meters, a beam of 3.5 meters with a displacement of 10 tons, powered by a 40HP diesel engine.

Mare Nostrum's superstructure is painted brown, while its hull is painted beige with a brown underside.

Carmen II[]
Carmen II is a tuna fishing boat which can be seen at Norramby Beach, Tidmouth Beach and the Fishing Village.

Carmen II is based on a Atunero-tuna fishing boat found in the Bay of Biscay. Dedicated to tuna fishing in the warm months of the year, the rest of the time was spent catching other species or fishing in other areas following the seasonal migration of other tuna species. The traditional method of fishing for these tuna vessels is trolling and live bait.

AC. 3929 is a fishing trawler which can be seen at Arlesburgh Harbour, Brendam Docks, Harwick, the Fishing Village and the Mainland Canal.

- AC. 3929's model is an off-the-shelf Marie-Ange coastal fishing trawler manufactured by New Cap Maquettes with the name removed from the wheelhouse.[5]
- AC. 3929's model was put on display for the Clearwater Events in August 2021 and 2022 and for the "Tugs Exhibition Spring Event" in 2023.
- When AC. 3929 returned in the CGI series, the registration number was removed.
- In Journey Beyond Sodor, two duplicates of AC. 3929 were seen at the Mainland Canal.
The Stern Trawler[]
The Stern Trawler is a small wooden fishing trawler which can be seen at the Fishing Village. The trawl is set and hauled over the stern.

The specific basis of the Stern Trawler is currently unknown.
Although, a trawler is a fishing vessel that uses a trawl, a conical net that snares fish by being dragged through the water or along the bottom. Trawlers vary according to the method of towing the net. Warp winches with capstans are installed on the deck to haul the catch. Outrigger trawlers with a forward superstructure and aft working deck are widely used to target shrimp.[6]

Danish Fishing Boats[]
The Danish Fishing Boats are a group of small wooden fishing boats have been seen at Arlesburgh Harbour, Brendam Docks, the Fishing Village, the Mainland Canal and the Runby Bridge.

These boats are based on the small fishing boats which are commonly seen in Denmark.
Livery[]
All of these boats have a yellow-orange mast. The first boat has a ochre superstructure and a blue and white hull, the second boat has a ochre superstructure and a white and red hull, the third boat has an off-white superstructure and a green and white hull, the fourth boat has a bordeaux superstructure and a blue hull, the fifth boat has a light-grey superstructure and a green hull, and the sixth boat has a medium-grey superstructure and a black and white hull.

Waterline Fishing Boat[]
The Waterline Fishing Boat is a small flat-bottomed boat which can be seen at the Fishing Village and the Runby Bridge.

Sodor is a fishing seiner, named after the Island of Sodor. It only appeared in the Golden Books.

Sodor is a based on an MRS-80 type fishing seiner, these were built between 1954 to 1961 during the Soviet Union.
Livery[]
Sodor has a white superstructure, a black and red hull with a white waterline in-between, a black funnel and a red band with white stripes. It also has "SODOR" written on its bow in white. It flies the Union Jack flag.

The MRS-80 is a type of fishing seiner, one of these is moored at the Mainland Canal. It only appeared in the Golden Books.
