Forklifts can be found working at different places, especially at Arlesdale Green and Tidmouth Harbour, where they carry crates and many other loads.

Once, a forklift working at Tidmouth Harbour accidentally spilled some crates of fish onto the rails, making the rails too slippery for James to move.

In the Railway Series, the first forklift, seen at Arlesdale Green, is painted yellow, while the second, seen at Tidmouth Harbour, is painted orange.
